Dream watch ?

I have mixed feelings about the Laurent Ferrier Minute Repeater ref. LCF.030 (which is very rarely talked about). I love the architecture and level of finishing of caliber LF707.01 as well as the overall "less is more" aesthetic. But I'm not in love with

thank you for sharing!

I didn't know about FP Journe early days issues. The principia (althrough not available in stock) would have a much better pricing (and looks great). With LF I had the chance to get a montre ecole regulator at a good price but I went for the VC 1921 in st

Two different worlds.

I have a Montre Ecole and a Galet Micro-Rotor with an autumn dial, so not the Ice Blue. These watches I can wear all day, without even noticing that I have them on my wrist, and I can't say that of the VC1921. The VC is an absolute a stunning and historic

great longer reply! I did try the 1921 in RG and even the New York YG LE back in 2016

and was almost leaving with it then I went with something else. It turned out ok as I like the WG even more! Great to have your feedback on the case (with Montre Ecole being not as appealing as the others). I have never seen the Montre Ecole in person so

The short answer: the 1921.

The long answer is, well, a bit longer. First, VC and LF are among my favorite brands and all the watches you mention are fantastic pieces in their own right. As for the 1921, this is an iconic VC that is very well designed and made. It is extremely weara

Opinions on Laurent Ferrier and..vs Vacheron⁉️

I always admired the Laurent Ferrier watches but never had the chance to try one. Now I could finally try the Classic Micro Rotor Ice Blue This is certainly very classy and verstatile. I also came across the possiblity to get the Montre Ecole Regulator: P

All I would say is, take enough time for your decision

because it is really hard. From a visual point of view, they all look great. I love the Classic and the Montre Ecole a lot and especially the Classic fits like a glove on my 18cm wrist. For me, the Square was too clumsy and not really comfy on my wrist, w

Latest Additions of Mostly Indies.

Haven't posted lately even though still collecting. Here's my most recent. LF Classic Origin in November of 2020 Switched out the strap for this. I think it dresses it up a bit more. Next up. Urban Jurgensen 1140L SS February 2021 Interesting dial. It's g

Your 'trick' with the four peaces of paper

is a great idea and works excellent to get reflection green shots. The down side is that the watches tend to look satin finished instead of polished. When I saw your first shot of the steel Montre Ecole, I honestly thought that the watch was available in
